I've recently made the switch from sumo DL's to regular DL's from off the floor.
I've been doing them for two sessions, and I've kept the weight very light...135 lbs for 10-12 reps, 3 sets.
I'm focusing on nailing my form. My main concern is my lower back.
My main question is whether or not it's normal to feel fatigue in these muscles after DL's. I feel absolutely no pain, no alarming strain, or naything like that...it just feels like the muscles in my lower back were "worked." I've been making sure to keep my lower back from rounding AT ALL, and had somebody watch me at the gym to make sure I wasn't rounding my back, and he assured me my form was good. I just want to be sure that this is normal, though, before I up the weight. Deadlifts can be dangerouns when done wrong, obviously.

i rounded badly until the folks here set me straight. i also put a mirror in my room and video myself/watch myself alot.

Definetely. It's not like I feel it extensively in my lower back...I feel it everywhere. Hams, Glutes, all over my back...

Ok, good, I thought it was normal and to be expected but I'm anal about form/not getting injured.
