As of now I am focusing mainly on cutting weight and will probably start with the caloric surplus and muscle gains in sveral weeks or whatever time is appropriate..
But the issue wit 'carbs' confuses me in lifting weights and muscle gains. I know that sugars/ simple carbs are bad and should only be taken post workout to refill glycegin holes (or whatever they are called). And complex carbs are good. Also Im confused on what are good sources of carbs for bulking because i here pasta and rice are great but bread is bad... and im confused on why alot should be taken the day after a workout, i mean i understand if it is a pre workout meal for energy. |

answers to a lot of your questions could be found by doing a google search, which would take roughly 30seconds, dont be lazy!! i think you need to go back and reread the stickies.
some of the information you have posted is also confusing. who told you to take alot of carbs the day after a workout? and while brown rice and brown pasta are good sources of complex carbs, white rice/pasta arnt. and all bread is not bad, white bread is processed shit, but wholemeal bread is pretty complex and much nicer! by the way, random question for anyone else reading this post, do they add sugar to some of the types of bread in america. i was over a couple of times in the summer and i couldnt eat a loaf of bread that i had bought because it was so damm sweet? ![]() |
