Have a couple of questions. My last workout was Thursday and I then took off for the weekend to go skiing. Haven't skied in a while. My legs are just crushed...squats don't compare to consecutive days of skiing.
Questions: * Does anyone have any idea how many calories you burn in an average day of skiing? (I'm trying to figure out if I burned those beers at the lodge afterwards). * I'd think that skiing is pretty good for core strength. Lots of full body "movements." What muscle groups would you work out on Monday after a weekend of skiing? Or groups you would stay away from? (I'd think legs is a clear avoid). Thanks. KY |

Thanks much.
If that's the case, it would seem that I burned off a beer every hour of skiing. Probably a wash although the dehydration factor was big...definitely was too busy skiing and not drinking enough water. Curious...how does an hour of skiing compare to your average intense 45-60 minute workout in the gym? More or less equal? KY |
