My Boston College Eagles have a nice little slot.

If they get by USC, they'll face beatable teams enroute to a potential elite eight birth.

Why do u guys always gotta use yahoo? Use ESPN or something else. I have so many accounts and i dont feel like creating another one for yahoo when i am never going to use it.

By the way sox, BC is usually TERRIBLE in March Madness so i am picking USC.

Not really - they've had some deep runs when they really shouldn't have.

ala Craig Smith, Jared Dudley teams.

If BC can get by USC, they have as good of a chance as anybody to make a deep run IMO.

I hate ESPN too (hardly ever watch it on TV) but i can't help but admit that they're the best source to go to for information, highlights, fantasy sports, and so forth. I just like their web design.

Can't stand their web design.

It's too busy, it lags... it just looks like shit in my opinion.

They do have good player pages but as far as information goes, they're terrible.

Again, I'd prefer to have us all in one league. We usually do fantasy leagues on Yahoo! so it makes sense that we do this one on Yahoo! as well.

By the way, does anyone have a good link where i can find statistical analysis of all the ncaa teams? I need to do some research for most of my picks but most sites out there are only for insiders so i ain't paying shit just for stats.

I'm not a big college hoops fan, but I did notice that they picked 65 teams for the tourney. What's the point of picking a 65th team in order to have an extra playoff game?

Haha...two days before the tournament and the office web police have blocked access to ESPN.com and cbssports.com since that's where our two large office pools are set up.

I'll be rooting for UConn but I have a bad feeling about Thursday's game. A 16 seed's got to knock off a 1 eventually.....

UConn is vulnerable but no 16 seed will be able to stop Thabeet; in a sense, it might be good for UConn fans if they were to lose in the opening round.

Thabeet simply could not leave early and they have no chance at winning at all anyways as they're a completely different team without Dyson.

I deleted the group. Nobody was joining so there's no point if there's only going to be 2 or 3 members. I just joined the general March Madness group that has like 50,000 members.

As long as Al Skinner is coach, they will never be a real threat in the tournament. His offensive schemes are HORRIBLE. Just slow, dull and repetitive. These guys just stand around and let Rice do all the work.

I did watch the game and I can't say that this was Al Skinner's fault here.

Simmons held Rice down, Race didn't let the game come to him, describes his career as an Eagle and it's unfortunate.

Stupid fouls by Josh Southern when they're too undersized to lose his presence.

Skinner was his typical emotionless self but I don't necessarily dislike that style...

I'm leading my office pool and can no worse than second place. If UNC wins, I get $528. If Michigan State wins, I get $268.

I won my office pool in 2000, too. Not too shabby...possibly two wins in one decade.

I've been keeping track on this other website.

Had been hovering right around .500 all tournament, but had 10 to win 17 on the Michigan State moneyline and 5 to win 5 on the UNC -7.

NCAA Tournament:
24-25-2, +29.62 units

Not up big, but still up and I got off to a terrible start on the first Friday having lost either 4 or 5 games by one point.

the losing record is because I had some outrageous money line winners in the opening rounds for small amounts of money and only one (Dayton over West Virginia) paid off.

Still won the points in a lot of those games though.
