Hey guys, I usually do a three day split, with chest and tris together, back and bis together, and then legs. I was thinking about adding a strictly arm day (bis, tris). I find that after I am done with my back I am too tired to do bis. Has anyone tried this?

Engine#9, I am currently doing a four day split the way you described. Most won't agree, but injuries from my old hockey days have forced me to train this way. i am finding that it is working well for me. Basically, it depends on you. are you making progress? if so, keep with it until you plateau, if not, make a change.

I work tri's and bi's together and it works fantastic for me! But I agree with Hattrick, if you're still making progress with your current routine then I wouldn't change a thing. however, if you are not, then I would say a change is in order! Good luck

Working arms on a separate day from back and chest never worked for me, I always ended up with tendinitus in my elbows.
Have you tried switching...Back & Tri's, and Chest & Bi's?
Or you could have a separate day for shoulders, bi's and tri's.
Just a thought.

You could go with Something like:
Mon:
Back/Chest
Wed:
Legs
Fri:
Arms/shoulders
I go with Chest/Bi's Back/Tri's myself.

I would stick to your routine but train abs after back to give your biceps a bit of time to recover
