So let's say your favorite team is playing for the championship, but if they lose you win money. Who do you root for?

I may be in this situation for the NCAA final. I win my office pool if North Carolina wins the tournament, but I am a UConn fan. 88 people in our pool and first prize is $528.

I'm not exactly a die-hard fan though, so go Tar Heels!!!

Different story though if this was the Red Sox.

A smart man bets with his brain not his heart.
A dumb man bets on Boston so don't bet with your ass on Boston.

I just made that up, funny right? ......right?

Show me the money!
I have Carolina winning my bracket, but even if they win, I will loose. Another guy also has Carolina and he is ahead of me.

If NC wins, you get $528, but if UConn wins you get $0? Other than being a UConn fan, what's in it for you? Me, I'd be rooting for NC.

$528.00 can get you great nose bleed seats at the StadiumII.

I'd get the joy of seeing my favorite team win the championship.

But, that's not worth losing $528 over.

BTW, I did pick UConn in the finals too, but I picked against them.
