OK, so here it goes. My body is a complete mess. I am in a really bad position right now, so I need help badly.

I am 6ft and 150lbs. I have very little muscle but I still have a little bit of fat(skinny-fat).

I have been running 2 miles a day and weight lifting for weeks now but it's not working at all. I haven't changed at all. I don't eat a lot(between 1200-1800 cals a day) not because I'm trying to but because I just don't like to eat all that much. I don't want to lose any weight but I still want to burn the fat. How do I not go into starvation mode when my maintenance level is so low? I have been trying so ****ing hard to just get rid of my fat so I can work on getting muscle, but it seems that no matter what, my body stays exactly the same. I've been avoiding doing a bulk because I don't want to put on more fat, but I guess I have no choice because nothing else is working. Please tell me, what do I do? I'm clueless.

First off, welcome to IM.

Built, one of the mods here, has a great starting tutorial for things that you NEED to know which can be found here .

I wouldn't recommend cutting at your level, you need to put on some muscle in my opinion. I would do at least a short bulk. Not only will this let you put some muscle on, it will also upregulate certain hormones that drop like a stone when you diet but are replenished when you are eating above maintenance.
