question about protein

hello everyone, i wold like to ask this.
how much protein the body can take to feef the muscle, what happen with the rest of protein that body will no use.

thanks alot!

i believe once the muscle has used all it can the remaining protein will be spent as energy to do regular activities throughout the day or go in to storage (fat) to be used at another time , however i think when the protein is stored it is no longer able to provide the same benefits it did when it was initially ingested

this being said your body regularly adds to the storage and takes away from the storage throughout the day

anyone correct me if this is at all wrong

question i would like to ask ..........since the body only uses so much protein at one time before it goes to storage would it not be better to space out the protein evenly throughout the day , maybe a little higher intake right after training this way the body will get sufficient use of the protein during the whole day before it goes in to storage and can not be used the same way ?

If your in a calorie surplus, you bet it will. If however your in a deficit, it wont.

Excess protein will be broken down to sugars and fatty acids, because the body cannot store energy in the form of protein.

The whole "you can't digest more than 40g of protein per sitting" is a myth. Eat however much protein is comfortable for you and allows you to hit at minimum 1-1.5g protein/lb LBM.

there is a scientific study about how much protein can the body restore in each serv¡ng o porcion.

can the liver process all that protein consumed just in one meal?

thanks

im with moondogg on this one unless your taking your whole daily intake in one serving , your liver should handle it fine

Personally, i don't think this is something to worry about, unless your consuming over 400g of protein for some odd reason...

Just aim for 1-1.5g of protein per LBM and .5g of fat per lb of body weight. Try to get most of your fats from EFA's and use carbs accordingly to convenience. Eating low GI carbs would be optimal, but not essential.
