Has anyone tried these two waters?

These are the best tasting pure refreshing waters out there!

Let's make a poll for the hell of it!

Posted by: david

Whoops, I forgot "Other". So list it in comments and check the last one anyways!

Posted by: Dr. Pain

FIJI!

Hands down, nothing tastes better!

Worst ever poll: Echo Springs, Fucking Yucko!

Posted by: Jodi

DP, that stuff taste great but wicked expensive for water.

Posted by: Dr. Pain

I know, I'm SO excited that my distributor is giving me a gr8 deal on 1.5 Liter bottles..

$12.77/12

I mostly refill the containers with filtered H2O, butt the first one, OMG!

Do you know what makes water taste good? Minerals

Most bottled water isn't any better than the water from your tap.

Pure water won't conduct electricity. Only LeBleu (as far as I know) is pure enough to be able to drop your hair dryer in it without being electrocuted.

Most are worse! Plastic bottles are not sanitized and contain lots of bacteria!

Posted by: david

Fiji, huh? I 'll give it a try. I haven't seen much of it! $12? a bottle. Canadian I hope!

Posted by: Scotty the Body

I guess I'm among the lucky ones that lives where the water is still clean.

WATER IS WATER DAMNIT!!

Posted by: Chest Rockwell

Evian tastes like piss!!!!

I think all bottled waters are a scam.
Evian is probably made by some dude named Evan
who bottles the stuff from his basment sink
in his New Jersey home.

Dude, you really should try Smart Water at least! Just for the Heck of it!

I agree with dg806. From what I have heard, tap water is more pure than a lot of bottled waters.

If I must drink bottled water, I buy Dasani. It doesn't have any nasty aftertaste like some bottled waters have (Poland Springs, Evian). Aquafina is pretty good too. But most of the time, I just drink tap water (keep a cold jug of it in my fridge).

Make sure ya read the labels....one, can't remember which, Dasani or Aquafina, is distilled...MTBer's don't need to be drinking distilled water

Posted by: I Are Baboon

Must be Dasani...I have an Aquafina bottle in front of me (filled with TAP water ) and the label says "non-carbonated purified drinking water." Our cafe at work sells Dasani. I'll have to go check it out.

BTW w8lifter, kudo's on the "MTBer" lingo!

MTBer's and athletes in general need the minerals that are in regular bottled water....of course this assumes a heavy w/o...just drinking distilled water is fine...but if someone's in heavy training, and sweating their asses off, then they need to replace the minerals they're losing.

Posted by: david

Thank you.... W8 as always!

Posted by: kuso

evian taste fucking terrible

I drink Dasani also, but when I read the label it says 2 servings.

I'll have two servings of water please... heh, that just makes me laugh.

Anyway on the bottle it says purified water, magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, salt. Purified water enhanced with minerals for a pure, fresh taste.

From the website http://www.dasani.com it says it takes water from the local water supply and then uses reverse osmosis. If it comes from Lake Lanier, I have to give them kudos to make that water purified heh.

On my return back to S. Florida (from ATL), with the top, I LIVED on Dasani and it tasted a lot better than most stuff!

I can "Almost" agree with you on that.

By the way, when you throw up after heavy drinking Bigss, you don't do it in the springs in Colorado, do you?

Posted by: EarWax

Welcome back david, how was your trip(s).

Posted by: david

Earwax,

I trained at Gold's in Alpharetta off of Mansel Rd? It was OK and I'll be back in ATL towards the end of next month. I have to go to Orlando-Daytona (Sept 7th) (oooh too far apart!!! NOT!!!) CT Sept. 15-25th, NYC and then, back to Atlanta! (Sept. 29)

You never told me where you work out though! Don't hide from me!

PS. I bought a T-Shirt from there so I'll post those pictures up and titled in your honor!

Alpharetta is beautiful!

Posted by: EarWax

Yeah Alpharetta is pretty nice if you can stand the neighbors...or so I hear.

I'm hiding cause there is a slim chance you might be one of those summer kidnappers hehe

What is wrong with the neighbors in Alpharetta????????

I assure you I won't kidnap you.

Posted by: EarWax

I knew a guy who lived in Alpharetta and had a rusty old mustang he was going to fix up. He parked it on his driveway and some neighbors complained about how it was lowering their property value, and they called the police. So, he had to move it into his garage. I thought that was crazyy...

does anyone use those filter things that you put on your tap or that are in pitchers? pur and brita are 2 i'm aware of.

i don't have either but think about it sometimes....any good?

my tap water tastes nasty so i've been buying water. i like dasani and fiji but adds up quick so i buy the cheap stuff - way better than my scary tap water!

lucky me - we have free bottled water at work though! arrowhead - it's fine. nothing special but not nasty.

The filters are good. we don't have enough water pressure to make a faucet mounted one work, so we continually fill one of those filtered containers. It's the only way my wife will drink our water.

At home, I love my Brita! When in the country, spring water is the best. I enjoyed every drop while in Vermont last week!

The Dasani hit real well while driving 11 hours from ATL to S.FLA!

Posted by: Mudge

I drink tap water, after its been in the fridge it tastes fine, don't know if I have hard or soft water though, probably somewhere in between.

Posted by: david

I still drink Smart Water and also, Aquafina. They taste great to me. (BTW, I did not bump this thread!!! )

Posted by: maniclion

The tap water in Hawaii is rain water from the mountains that has filtered down through the porous lava rock and accumulated in the lower aquifers, this process takes 25 years.

So, when they first discovered this.. the first 25 years and drinking the water, did anyone get sick? I bet they didn't.
