What is up with this team? Their got rid of Dikembe? Whose next? Iverson?
I don't know if Todd McCullough and Keith Van Horn does them any better!
Other great (not so good moves)
- San Antonio trades G Antonio Daniels, C Amal McCaskill and G Charles Smith to Portland for G Erick Barkley, G Steve Kerr and a 2003 second-round pick.
DUMB
- New Jersey signs G Chris Childs.
Didn't he start his career there?
- Miami re-signs C Vladimir Stepania
Talk about team improvement for an ailing Mourning

i guess they just needed another scorer to take some pressure off iverson. van horn should be able to put up decent numbers in philly. 76ers just lost a ton of rebounds though!

and blocked shots!

Yeah Mutombo was a great defender, but someone NEEDS to help with the scoring. Mutombo's offensive game was a joke, and Allen can only do so much day in day out right..
Van Horn is a pussy, do doubt about it, but he can score 20 points a night in Philly. I think both teams made smart moves to patch up their weaknesses.
Oh, and as a Toronto Raptors fan, I'd like to toss in a GOOD RIDDENS CHRIS CHILDS!!!!!

Chris is a bad trade out of Toronto along with Tracy McGrady! Chris was better than Tracy! Just kidding of course!

I think the move in Philly is a good one. Dikembe is getting older and weaker.
Todd McCullough could be a great player imho if he tried harder, maybe put on some more size too. Van Horn I personally don't like, but he does put up numbers, something Philly wants.

What was Dikembe's offensive statistics last year? I may have to go look this up. He wasn't in any way a force on the offensive end, and I personally don't think he was much of a defensive player either, maybe a few block shots here and there but overall he's just an extremely tall dude.
