Green Bay - Could the savior to so many Green Bay Packers fans quickly become their Judas?
We all should know soon enough.
Retired quarterback Brett Favre, who in 16 record-setting years guided the Packers back to National Football League prominence, will speak to the Minnesota Vikings - the Packers' archrival - about possibly donning the purple and white to stick it to the green and gold.
ESPN reported Tuesday that Favre would meet later this week with Vikings coach Brad Childress to discuss the stunning possibility. The location is undisclosed but it likely will be near Favre's home in Mississippi.
There is a mutual understanding between Favre and the Vikings, according to the report, that he will give them a decision soon after the meeting. The Vikings would want Favre to participate in offseason minicamps and training camp. The Vikings begin offseason practices on May 19. Their mandatory minicamp is May 29-31.
Bus Cook, Favre's agent, did not return a phone call seeking comment. The Vikings have not commented publicly.
Favre returning is far from a done deal, according to sources close to the player.

He doesn't want that, all he wants is to show his old girlfriend the Packers the royal fuck you.

still, he needs to stop while he is still liked

Liked may have gone out the window long ago. His ego has certainly been the only thing portrayed since he originally attempted to retire.

Favre supposedly says he will stay retired.

Yeah, till next week.

I was hoping he'd come back. I like the off-season drama.

Me too so the Packers would completely blow out his arm.

the vikings need to say to his face that he is radioactive and despite his considerable skills putting him as the face of the franchise for a year is not in the vikings best interest
