oh.. who cares.. just turn off ESPN for a week like I've been doing on and off for the last couple years. it's a shit station when you realize that FSN has a better highlite show.
this speaks volumes to the amount of people who were taking steroids, not a team for having a player who was. |
This is a major story. Turning off ESPN won't make it go away.
Of course it will.
I might read updates online every once in a while and pop my head in this thread, but ESPN is the only station that would make this meaningless news something bigger. |
Manny ? Really, this doesn't surprise me at all. I'm just glad the Dodgers are getting their $45 millions worth!

So... your saying we're going to be hearing about PEDs again for an extended period of time?
Fuck my life. |
. in this we agree. all sport fans must agree.
Will MLB release what he tested positive for? or just list it as a PED?
So why would a doc prescribe HCG?
Only legal reason I can see is for weight loss. |

They just announced that he tested positive for HCG. It's a fertility drug used as PCT for steroids.
Is there anyone who hasn't used steroids or HGH?
I now fear Albert Pujols is also using something. |
Whether he uses or not, he says he's 29 years old. Have you seen him? He's a n old looking 29 year old. It would be interesting if they asked him about his age like they did with Tejada

Probably because it's illegal and it violates MLB's drug policies, but I'm just guessing.
And that 5 of the top 12 Homerun Hitters are cheaters.
Stats are a big thing in Baseball. |
I'm with dg in the sense that I just don't give a flying fuck about steroids anymore.

You can get either HCG or steroids legally if prescribed. Why does MLB or the public care if a player tries to better himself. You all say records...........let everyone use them and they are on a level playing field and it doesn't matter. The only reason this is an issue is because the IOC started this crap and everyone else was forced to follow. If they would have kept their mouths shut, you would never have seen any of this and it would all be peachy keen.

. not to mention, the talent in warm weathered countries such as the Dominican Republic was non-existant.

Bill Simmons is my favorite sports writer. Here's one of his recent articles about the 2004-2007 Red Sox and speculative steroid use.
