Women also have a much higher incidence over men of autoimmune diseases many of which are inflammatory ( lupus, rheumatoid) ( think of autoimmune disease as innate inflammatory response gone bezerk, attacking one's own body than foreign invaders like viruses and bacteria) this may be another way of looking at and controlling autoimmune responses and disease in women.

For me its women. They can do almost everything. I am proud to all women especially to those who are hardworking and sacrificing a lot just for their love ones.

My apologies for the up-too-late rambling:

Is that whole "women typically live seven years longer than men" thing still in force?

Heard that with more women in the workforce, increases in smoking, etc., that the gap was closing.

Women give birth, though. With that thought in mind, there's no question for me. Women are definitely stronger!

In general.. women, IMHO, care FAR more about what others think of them then men. In turn they have more empathy for those that fail in this regard. All my women.. my wife, daughter, my mother, every last one I've ever confided in has made me stronger.
