Why not? It will only die a natural death anyway.

It'll be cute if we sweep the angels today after sweeping the mariners.

I do have Jared Saltymochaccino on my fantasy team. It'd be nice if the queerbag would get some hits.

Posted by: Nate K

He's been doing good

Posted by: min0 lee

Shhhhh....please...die quietly....nononno.....please it will be less painful..

*sympathy bump*

Texas has a pretty god team though....good hitters.

Cruz looks like a good one.

Posted by: Nate K

WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE. Watch your back angels.

This Holland kid (22) pitched a 2 hitter through 8 and 2/3 innings.

Yes, a "god" team Mino.
It took Nelly Cruz a while to get a full season in the majors but that's ok...I didn't know he had the nice speed that he does.

It would be nice to see Texas go deep in the playoffs, they seem to have fans that care unlike in Florida.

Sweep them again!

Its tought to compete against teams with an endless cap on their salary!

Yes, but I think we can do it. Big series starting tonight vs. Boston.

Sweep them!
The wild card could be between these 3.
Texas
Rays
Boston

This is just a Soxmuscle predict so don't take me serious.

Rangers beat Red Sox to take wild-card lead
By DAVID JIMENEZ,
Associated Press Writer
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Two days after being roughed up by the Red Sox, Frank Francisco helped the Texas Rangers knock Boston out of the wild-card lead.
Francisco bounced back from the worst outing of his career to pick up the save, Ian Kinsler homered and drove in two runs, and the Rangers passed the Red Sox in the AL wild-card race with a 4-3 win Sunday.
Francisco pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to give Texas a half-game lead over Boston. Less than 48 hours earlier, the closer was booed off the mound after being touched up for six runs in Boston's 8-4 victory Friday night.
"I believe in my teammates," Francisco said. "I feel like we have a chance to win when they're out there, and they feel the same way about me."
Kinsler, back in the lineup one day after he was hit by a pitch that ricocheted off his shoulder to his head, went deep for the second straight day and had an RBI single in the third that gave Texas a 3-1 lead.
Dustin Nippert (4-1) gave up two runs and six hits as the Rangers took two of three in the weekend series. The right-hander pitched 5 2-3 innings to defeat Boston on July 22, his only other win as a starter this season.
Texas, which also got a solo shot from Taylor Teagarden, went 7-2 against the Red Sox this season.

Yes Yes.

It should have been a sweep. That first game on Friday was such a heartbreaker. I don't want to try and recall what happened.

Posted by: min0 lee

These Rangers look good.

That kid felix is throwing 101 mpr!!

Posted by: min0 lee

Oh my...........

Posted by: Nate K

A, Neftali Feliz does have some heat.

Rangers take 2 of 3 in series @ Yankees.

Posted by: min0 lee

Ouch....they beat Boston and now the Yanks.

Posted by: Nate K

eh, they're still behind in wildcard and division.

Posted by: min0 lee

Their future looks good.

How could Texas not put a waiver claim in on Scott Kazmir?

Regardless of if this trade goes down, the Rangers were sleeping/being idiots to even allow the Angels a chance at getting him.
