Gonna start off doing a keto diet.......Ive done 2 weeks without a carb-up, so far so good, butstrength is suffering in the gym....i think i wanna try 25g carbs (oats) before and not sure what kind of carbs post....May even take a gda (have several on-hand) pre and see how this goes...(was suggested to me by someone in a different forum)...kinda tough on keto right now as i am a chef by trade and we areat the time of year doing alot of research and devepment of new apps and dishes, requiring tasting of foods whether i like it or not. Ill check back in after a couple workouts and update.

Well today i took 2 scoops 2.0 CR and a serving ground oats 45 min pre wo(also 1 need2slin) 20 min before...As workout started there was energy boost (slight, but maybe more if i sleep better, prolly 12 total hours last 3 nights) but was neg on keto stick....well after my 2 scoops whey after workout and 20 min later i was back between small and moderate on ketostick. So that equalled 35 net carbs pre (25g slow from oats and 10 fast?? from the 2.0,malto and dextrose?) with 36g protein, and 10-12g (assumung fast from the whey, fructrose)net carbs post with 46g protein

So, down to 276 so far, trying to tighten up my TKD. Decided to go with 1.5 scoops xf 2.0 and .5 cups ground oats as pre, then gonna go with 2 scoops 2.0 and 15-20g dextrose as post, then back to very few carbs after. So far so good, but this is gonna be rough week, crazy work and life schedule, and sinus infection tryin to fight off, so hopin to squeeze in at least 3 workouts this week, back to 5-6 next week tho.

    Shootin for

    appx 2500 cals
appx 90 carbs, (70 pre and post workout)
    appx 225g protein
    appx 130-140g fat

if i can get few more calories in, they will come from protein

BTW..I am always open for advice and constructive criticism so feel free to chime in anyone, anytime.

One question im looking for an answer to, if i was to take a GDA, would i be better off taking it pre with the oats, or post with the dextrose. I know the general answer is to take it with the complex carbs, but didnt know if that would help me get back to ketosis after if i took it with the dextrose

    Yohimbe

Can't go wrong with the above. Gnc or even Wal Mart brand.
You can do wonders with extra vitamins.

you are doing great with the weight loss, that is awesome....

    what is DAA and Triazole?

the second one sounds like something I would find on a menu in an italian restaurant..

"Hey waiter, ya, I'd like to have some Triazole, few meatballs on the side, a ceasar salad , and of course, finish off with a cannoli and espresso. ..." Bada Bing, bada bang ....

daa= d aspartic acid (test booster)
triazole=AI=aromatise inhibitor (controls estrogen, allowing for more test) much more scientific explanations to these, but thats the short version

so friday I absolutely killed my backworkout, reps andweight wise ...feelsgoodman

havent felt good last couple days, i think its the glycobol, switching to slin-sane, can be taken with less carbs and i think thats the cause of the GI issues.....gonna switch up routine from a 4 day split+2 day cardio to something someone else suggested to me

Layne Nortons P.H.A.T. routine, hear its tough, but efective so bring it!!
