addInfo:
Im 20 years old
height: 6'0"
Weight:281bf% - 24-30%?
My goal is to cut down to 240lbs or less, while adding all the lean mass possible. I put on weight very easy, but I'm hoping to take it off easy aswell. I'll be hitting the weights atleast 5 times a week (HIT- biceps/back, Tri's/chest/delts, Legs) and cardio 5-6days of the week depending on how my body responds. Going for a 45/35/20 ratios on my macros, and keeping it clean.

Reason: add Final photos
dumbell curl 40x11 45x6 (had to cheat on the last 3 with my left bicep)
preacher 50x9
barbell curl 60x2
wrist curl 100x12
reverse wrist curl 40x12
pulldown 160x13-suppersetted with dipsx9 200x4
overhead extension 120x10
close grip bench 95x13 145x10
15min powerwalk @ 160-170bpm
I hope to get my left arm strength equal to my right, which is why I am using dumbells mostly. I always have trouble finishing up the last 1-2reps on my left side. If any of the pros on here would like to critique some of my workouts please do.
Cardio only for the next 2 days. Hitting Legs hard on wednesday.

Today I got a lot done. I normally never do split workouts, but my energy was pretty high so I figured id give it a go.

Dumbell wrist curl 40x16 45x6

I've got a few logs that I haven't transferred to this page as of yet. But anyway, I did chest last night. I've also been experimenting with more of a HIT workout (close to mike mentzer's program), and even though my reps have decreased somewhat, the intensity and the pump seems to be much higher. 4 seconds on the positive, 4 seconds on the static, and 4 on the negative.
I will be out of town this weekend so I'll post my weight today: 270.5lbs
I've been going heavier on the carbs latley, around 50/30/20. Carbs make me feel good. Unfortunately though I wake up every night with a craving for a sugary beverage.
My lifts have been going up, despite my overall weight going down. As mentioned above, I came down with a sinus infection and it impacted my water consumption. Everything is hard to swallow and I feel weak. I weighed in after running today, and that might reflect why there's a big gap between today and last week's weight.
2 days ago I injured my left rotator cuff after getting a deadlift PR. haven't been able to sleep on my sides at all, and I usually wind up taking a done or two just to ease the "throbbing" sensation. Other than that, everything seems to be in order. Hopefully I can finish up at 245 or below by the time the contest ends.
At one time I weighed 309lbs. I was extremely weak and very obese. At one point I remember eating 2 meals a day, usually a big pizza in the morning and some big fastfood meal in the evening- it put weight on me like no other. I knew nothing about cooking or any idea what food was good. My first year or so of training was rough; I had to learn a lot of new things and plan out my day. A couple months in I became discouraged with weights and did a lot of cardio, and went back and forth. For a year and a half I guess my progress isn't too bad; it could've been a lot better though- if only I had the knowledge and experience I do now. Internet forums like this are an amazing tool, and I don't think I would've been as successful without them.

Hopefully I can make 240 or better by the time the contest is over. It's becoming tougher and tougher to lose weight. Anyway, I'll give it my best shot. Here is a comparison of day1 and today.
