Where there's a will... there's a way right?! Here's a thought, if the weather's nice out in your area you might consider taking the older one out with you for some cardio and pushing the stroller around the block a few times around. When my god daughter was smaller, her mother and I would take turns pushing her stroller up the hills while jogging spints. Talk about a killer workout and getting the heart rate up quick! 40lbs may not seem like a whole lot to push around but after a few rounds of sprints it totally feels like a ton of dead weight bricks! LOL. My goddaughter had fun too... after a while she'd yell for us to go faster! She became our little whip nazi believe it or not! Use the kids to your advantage is all I'm saying. You kill two birds with one stone by getting a great cardio workout and having some bonding time. It's a win win situation. Bonus, if the wife joins you and helps share in the torture session.

    Good luck.

I also wanted to add I did 5 years in prison when I was younger for bad decisions I made. When I was in there i went in at age 22 at 175 and left there at 245.Well we all know you have nothing to do but hit the weights.I needed this contest to drive me again as since then have became a lard ass and am now 36 like I said before. When I was in there everyone did power lifts to boost their ego...Bench,squat,And deadlifts.I wanna be in all around good shape though as in cardio and endurance now.So have been working on a good game plan and did a shit ton of pullups and pushups to loosen everything up but gonna go get that membership tommorrow ....

Well cant wait to hit the gym Im now mentally ready to hit it with everything I got.Never was big into dieting and cardio but now i want to add as much lean muscle mass as possible.
    Diet today
    Breakfast-2 eggs and protein shake.
snack-lowfat cottage cheese with protein shake
lunch-Boneless skinless chicken breast and small salad w lite dressing
    snack -Protein bar
dinner-Salmond pattie small yam and apple
    And now another protein shake.

Very busy today as Im now working grave yard so just did 35 minutes on eliptical I have in basement and took daughter for 3 mile walk in stoller--Shes 3 and weighs about 40lbs so my legs were burning. No lifting today as I will start tommorrow.

iwas sore as hell yesterday so did 30 minutes on elipitical and called it good.
still trying to find a good weight to do on each of these lifts as I wanna avoid injury with having about 3 years off and gaing about 30 lbs of fat..lol.Anyways made it to the gym tonight about 11pm.Nights or mornings are gonna have to be the time as its very hectic at my house now with the 1 month old and 3 year old.Workout tonight went as followed...

    Squat-5x8 with 105-115-145-185for 2x 10
    deadlifts-3x8 with 135-155-185
    decline db-40/8 55/8 65/2x10
flat bar bench-155-3x10 with only 30 seconds rest between sets.
    narrow grip seated rows-100/10 140/10 180-2x10
    pullups bw for 6-4-4
Everthing felt good I could definatly control weights good and felt pretty light so definatly going up next time.

Had to take 2 days off from lifting as I had to go to missouri to visit step kids.Got in about 3 mile walk- run each day as my legs-calves-butt were sore as hell from deadlifts-squats the other day.Have been doing alot of stretching this last week also as i feel now things are starting to get ready to be abused hard with some iron.Gonna get to the gym later this morning and so will report back later how that went.

yeah i believe there is some good muscle tone under that fat.Just watching what i eat and doing the little I've done already I feel so much better and have so much more energy.Dont really have to strict a diet thats why i havent posted much on that.Eating my 3 meals a day and snacking between meal to give me 5 to 6 smaller meals a day. Each meal containg protein, veggies and a little carbs....pretty basi but seem to be working. Each portion about the size of my fist.Who has time to count calories....never seems to work for me.

Have real;ly been slacking on my post but my life has been so hectic lately. My daughter is 2 months old now so my wife and i are starting to get into a pretty routine schedule.Wasnt looking like I was gonna be able to afford a gym membership but my uncle gave me an olympic size bench, about 350lbs of plates and a set of 50 lb dumbells so im back in buisness.I like this alot better asw I wasnt feeling the whole gym enviromen. Id rasther do it by myself and blast some good music and get down to buisness. No waitng around for equipment etc.....so I should be able to make up for some lost time as I wwent out to the garage last night to do chest, shoulders and tris and I was definatly in a good place.......
