Well, I got bold today, and measured my waistline. I could not believe what the tape said (39 inches, around the fattest part) and tried to figure out how I had let this happen. It think it was about 31" last March.
One thing that gave me a false sense of confidence was that my 35" waist blue jeans are still quite loose on me. How does that happen? Is Levi-Strauss lying to me? Or, more likely, is it just that my belly is much larger around than my beltline?
Anyhow, it is disgusting, and so this Transformation Contest is coming along just in time.
I did my "Back Thickness" workout this morning, along with abs and biceps. Short and to the point.
Morning weight was 195 pounds.
I am really hungry at work, even though this is what I have "nominally" been eating for many months. I think the truth of the matter is that I don't realize how much I have been "supplementing" what my wife packs in the lunch box.
Oh, balls. I drove this Transformation bus off the road already. I had been quite depressed all winter, and got into the habit of self-medicating with alchohol, which is partly how I achieved the flab-tastic Before pics. So, yesterday, I ended up going out and drinking to excess.
Message to self: Stop the sabotage; the clock is ticking!

Today's a new day... You can't undo yesterday so grab hold of the wheel and just get back on course. You keep doing stuff like this and I'm gonna start making fun of your driving skillz.... swerving worse like an old lady!
Back at it dude! I have been wanting to pound some back as well and ALL of my friends that I hang with on a regular basis are out loading up right now.

Time to get lean and mean dude!
I know what you mean.
Anyhow, I am back at it this morning. Back workout with my 16-year-old son.

I am with you bro.... late night partying, a little of this, a little of that, get a little hungry....
I am trying to keep alcohol to a Friday night if that .... since I am taking a PH, I cant drink alcohol anyway since it just adds to the taxing of the liver so I might have a drink on a Friday night.... I figure we all cheat so just make it part of the system and commit to do so as a reward, maybe do it on carb loading day which for me is always weekend (within moderation)
I just rested yesterday, an didn't feel quite up to the schedule leg workout this morning. So, I went and did 45 minutes of treadmill cardio. It felt great!
3.7 mph @ 7% incline, 453 calories.
Weight was still 194 pounds, but my belly circumference is down to 37.5", so things are moving in the right direction.
