Life's Losing It: A former fatties guide to becoming a former fattie

    Current Weight: 226
Current (And hopefully end?) Height: 6'
Goal: Cut back down for the summer, finally get rid of the love handles and look jerked and tan.

Background: I used to weight 300lbs at my peak weight. I started cutting down around four years ago and started working out. I lost about 25lbs getting down to 275 before getting serious about it two summers ago. Over the course of that summer I had dropped to 220. Fast forward to last summer I dropped down to 185 and maintained before bulking back up over the winter. I lost the weight over the summer doing a very non-disciplined keto cut (I didn't pay attention to calories). I asked Prince to also post a picture from last August that I had resulting from the cut, but no dice! Only problem was I couldn't get rid of the love handles. Being as fat as I used to be they don't ever seem to want to leave. But fuck them, I'm packing their bags and kicking them out.

So I'm doing CKD with a little diet help from Juggernaut (Beyond Nutrition). I will be following Lyle's protocol until I find it isn't effective and then modify it from there. I will be posting logs of my training as well as a log of Cyanostane, care of Prince.

Any and all comments, recommendations and questions are welcome and requested!

Nutrient breakdown should look something like this:

    Nutrients Per Day: (Non-Carb Up)
    Cal. (g)
    Fat 1296 144
    Protein 943 236
    Carbs 118 29
    Total 2357

    Carb Up Day:
    Fat 142 16
    Protein 943 236
    Carbs 1760 440
    Total 2838

I have yet to actually break down my meals and I'm not worried about it during the first two weeks. I will be cooking all of my meals (Carb-up day aside) once a week on Sunday.

    You've got the traps already.

With the right diet and enough time you could be shredded. Your overall make up shows that the fat distribution patterns can easily be changed. Good luck.

Yeah I asked if I could post the results of last year's cut on here but PC or Prince didn't want me to. I was very cut then (@185). Now I have at least another 20lbs of muscle to build on. I went from benching 225 to 325 from Sept -> March. Squating 185 to 375 and I had just started dead lifting and got up to 465. So the muscle has to be there.

Looking good brosephus. Serious question; why did you throw bench press in with the last wo? Seems out of place to me, but I am usually wrong.

    Good luck homie.

Your breath smells worse and your urine tends to have a distinct odor and color. You can't tell from the urine if you're knocking back a couple gallons a day but generally it isn't hard to tell.

    Deadlifts: 2x315*10
    Legcurls: 2x140*12
    Calf Raise: 2x225*12

Didn't measure weight because I had to train at a gym out of town. Started the carb up today and going UD 2.0 starting next week. Can't really tell much from the Cyanostane but it has only been a week so... we'll see?

And you're doing keto? This is a journal to watch. Seems like the weight is falling off you, too.
