    Slo Truck Transformation Challenge

    Age 31

    Height 5'10"

    Weight 243lbs

Goal: To loose fat and gain some muscle definition where possible. Get in overall healthy shape.

I am starting this challenge to not because I think I have a great chance of winning but more to hold myself accountable to see the next 12wks through to it's full potential. This will be very hard for me since I am 150 mils off the coast of Angola, Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. For the 1st half of the challenge I will be using a body weight work out, resistance bands, and tred mill. 2nd half I will be home and be able to hit the gym. Well Here Goes. Good luck every one.

Well I thought that I put a little about my routine. Comment and critiques are welcome. Please understand that I only have a stationary bike, tred mill, some small dumb bells, a worn out POS bow Flex, one resistance band and my own weight at my disposal to exercise. Usually train 6 days a week.

Morning: 30min Interval running or Bike
    While offshore I work 12hrs a day 7days a week.

    After work:
    Push ups reg. 30x4
Dips on a ledge and chair 30x4
    Crunches 45x4
Overhand Pull ups 4 sets usually 10,10,8,6
    Under hand Pull ups 8x3
    Lunges 25x8

I add curls and stiff arm lat raises with the Band or dumb bells every other day. I also walk consently between sets. Basicly other then the tred mill and bike all my workout is done out doors on the Bow of ship I work on here in Africa for the next 3 wks. Oh yeah its hot as hell here. 12° south of the Equator. LOL

Had a great work out today. Its just so damn hot. Any advice on hand stand push ups for shoulders even if i can only do like 4 sets of 5. Would these be worth it?

Its really hard to eat well out here when you dont control what is for any meal. Any one have a general meal plan that I can TRY to model my daily eating around that will help me?

Well the routine is still going good. I am still trying to eat right. I dont think I am getting enough of the proper calories but there isn't a lot of option out here. Still staying away from sugar and bread. Since I really started my transformation before the contest I am seeing more definition in my arms and chest. Gut is still there, but i am on my last belt hole and its getting looser! That is a big plus to me. I have 2 more wks offshore then I will really turn the training up since I will be back at the gym.

Ace I am down for some Beer for sure.

The weather was to rough to do my normal routine outside. I had to hit the Bowflex I had that thing. I made the most of it. Hopefully the weather will lay back down and I can really pick up the pace my last week and half offshore.

Good luck. Some pretty cool stuff. You got good potential. What are u eating, fish. If so you will cut fast. Great omega 3 and this will facilitate breaking down fats. Any supplements?

    GNC Wheybolic protein
    Cellucor C4 Pre work out
    Cellucor T7 weight loss

I was thinking about ordering some Clenn. I have done it before and know it works good. Guess we will see.

Well here we are a week into this challenge and it going really good for me. I am on my last belt notch and eating clean. Hit the bike this morning for 30min. Yesterdays workout was lacking some intensity. I think its the fact that I am ready to get off this boat and go home. I cant wait to hit the gym and get after some real weight and see some real results. Good luck to every one else.

Haven't posted in a few days. Still been at it. Took yesterday off as a rest day but back on the bike again this morning. I have 4 more workouts while out here offshore then back to the gym. I will start posting worked logs once back in there.

There is a decent supply of fruits and veggies. The proteins are not so healthy. Mostly butter covered and or fried. I eat alot of Bananas. I really only eat a 3-4 times a day. I could eat more but the cooks only serve at 4 times a day. 12am, 6am, 12pm and 6pm. I cant cook my own food cause i am still at work. I do take a protein
shake after i work out in the evenings.
