Good luck!

Thank you sir.

Cardio
It was cold and windy today but my disdain for indoor cardio bested the weather. I did a quick 35 miles road cycling on county highways. Total time in the saddle was 87 minutes @ an average of 21.6mph. Also rode to classes for a total of 22miles.![]()

Flux Pavilion is bad ass as well.

Cardio:
18 miles road cycling @18.6mph avg. Average heart rate was 160bpm.
Deadlifts were weak today. I have a fracture of the pars @L4 and two broken screws from a failed surgery in 1998. Three weeks ago, while deadlifting my 4RM of 405, I felt a slow, deep, hot burn on the left side of the incision scar. I've tried to do rack-pulls in place of heavy deads, even cut them out entirely two weeks ago, but the pain and inflammation are quite severe none the less. I am accustomed to a certain level of pain, however when it prevents me from performing some daily activities, it has become a problem. Other than that WO felt great, I felt strong from start to finish, actually didn't want to leave. I love that feeling. I am not looking forward to being hungry all the time starting Monday. I do however enjoy the process of psychologically and physiologically adapting to the stress of hunger. I have always felt more vitality and motivation when in a state of underfeeding. That doesn't make sense now that I type it....

did someone say Flux Pavilion?

Rest/cardio:
Rode some backroads, again, for 42 Miles (active cycling). Total time was 2:45, average heart rate 141bpm. It was a perfect early spring day today. A good day for a ride.

Damn 42 miles is far as shit nice riding!

I get a ton of serenity from road cycling.

You just circled my city on your bike.

Rest/Cardio:
I skipped the first depletion wo in Lyle's UD2 protocol. I wanted to start the diet today so I went ahead and began the first cycle and just did HIIT on my road bike. I am still way sore from getting back into riding again. I did 37 miles today and every one of them were excruciating. It still feels like my thighs are filled with wet sand. I'll post screenshots of today's diet after my last meal.
...i'm fucking starving.
That is all.![]()

Here is the macros breakdown for 04/18/2011:
I went a little over what I want for carbs but I know what to cut out. Man, that is not a lot of food. It's been a while.

So I didn't check my eggs Monday night before dumping them in my blender. As a result, I had food poisoning from 11PM Monday through 3AM this morning. I couldn't even hold down water for most of the time. I haven't felt that physically helpless since I contracted an illness from unfiltered water in Mexico some 15 years ago. I checked the shell in my compost bucket and it was brown, slimy and smelled like rotting meat. My life is awesome.

I started to lower my weights a little today. Partly because I still felt like shit from being poisoned and partly due to Lyle's protocol. I will be adding in the training portion of the UD2 protocol starting Monday so for now I am still doing my usual bodypart rotation. I wasn't going to do the training portion of the program but I think need to switch up from intensity training for a bit. I have a few injuries that are not going away and I keep getting more. Maybe my body is trying to tell me something. Stay motivated my homies.![]()
yea man injuries def suck, i always end up hurting myself so i am trying to be very careful with things. dont give up tho, the contest only started theres still like 11 or 12 weeks til the end!
