I have been lifting for around 10 yrs. Seriously lifting for around 2.
I have been using many supplements throughout the years, mostly fat burners.
I currently live in Japan as an English teacher. I workout at home and at a gym.
Many challenges I have is that most supplements here are very expensive so I must import them. This makes them very expensive with shipping and import tax. Also, my gym is around 1.5 hrs away and it costs me around 20 dollars a visit (with gas and gym entrance fee).
I want to lose weight on this transformation and I will be using the gethin 12 week hardcore trainer on bodybuilding.com supersite. With luck I can lose weight and keep some muscle.
Unfortunately, I was doing well for the last week down 4lbs but then I had to meet my gf's mom and spend several days with her family... No matter where I am meeting the family will be stressful, and dining with them is not possible on a diet... with luck they will realize that I need to do this and will accept that because it seems the family wants to get to know me better. I guess from now on I will have to just make them accept that I must be eating the foods I make etc. As I know many believe a calorie is a calorie etc. but I believe in many environmental and food stressors, and I have a lot of “trigger” foods that cause stress and downward spirals of binges.
I should be updating several times during the week, and I will be also updating my bodyspace of the same name.
Okay, weight is coming back down.
Currently eating 350g protein, 300g carbs, 40-50g fats.
I'm switching this up to 350g protein, carbs from veggies, 140g fats. The carbs really bloat me, anything but brown rice and maybe about 80g of oats will bloat me quite noticeably.
I will adjust from then. Last week I went to around 86.5kgs while on this diet so I assume I will drop to around that weight this week as well as I have already re established my morning weight at around 90kgs (Down from 92kgs on monday).
Workouts are intense, I just go in and try to get stronger on certain power lifts (More reps or more weight), and then just all out blast towards the end. Pretty instictive, my rest times are probably around 30-75s, I'll add drop sets, super sets, static holds, rest pause, depending on how I feel. Also, if I get a good feel in my chest from doing back I will sometimes just add in some bench press super setted with my bent over rows for fun.
Looking good. progress is always good.
I'll be running Androlean. PP's TRS for 4 weeks of PCT and will be stacking erase and alpha T2 on that for 8 weeks. Quite a mild run. Though I haven't had much exp in this area.
Sadly, last night I confirmed what I had feared. Through stress and a big back workout my umbilical hernia has resurfaced. I will just be taking a short break from working out. Hopefully within a week it will go down and I can hit the gym even harder. I'm pretty sure this is what has been causing the strange bloating and inflamation i have been experiencing these past 3 days.
Wow, still off the weights to try and heal my umbilical hernia.
Also, I have minor symptoms of a digestive track infection... things are not looking so good...

Good luck everyone
i had mine operated on several eyars ago and other than some tenderness for a few weeks, it went well....
btw, WEAR a lifting belt when you go back, give your core area support and hold it in

TBH I am almost 100% certain that this was the catalyst in this. I was already stressed etc. but i did my full power back workout (which is pretty insane...DB bent over rows, bent over rows, rack deads, lat pull, pull overs... ) WITHOUT a belt. The first time I did it w/o a belt too... 600lbs rack deads... probably ripped it out.
I am currently living in Japan so I have no idea what the cost etc. is here. Was it a major operation? Did you have to stay over night in the hospital?
Hey guys, I decided to not get the surgery and just play it out for now.
I also have severe back up in my large intestines... Which is pushing my hernia out. I'm not sure what this is due to but i'm going to basically do a PSMF now because I CAN'T workout. Blood is slowly flowing out of my belly button and I highly doubt any bout of exercise will be beneficial to my long term health. Plus, I doubt i'll be able to to carry out any bout of exercise worth doing...
With luck and some carefully planned dieting I should be able to drop like the 8kgs I put on. Probably most if bloat from my stomach area being swelled at the moment.
I'm writing a new workout program, for anyone who reads this blog please comment as I would like some feed back when I post it later today

Jeebus! What did the doc say?
I applied for the JET program after college and I got in. Do a search on "JET program" then the web site should pop out.
Another company that is very popular and pretty reliable is called "Interact" they are the other main company that people like me work for. JET has the best perks and the best pay, as we don't pay any Taxes.
Sadly... it stopped when I went to the doctors and he said he can't "Diagnose" something until he sees it...
Anyway it's getting better but it seems I have gained like 3kgs of fat... and probably about 3kgs of muscles have vanished... Thinking of running Andro RX to combat this and get back on track in about 2 weeks... Diet's back on track though... detox via Paleo and probably go on a high protien high fat no carb diet to rush the fat loss.. Plus I have my wedding coming up in 3 months... !_! I gotta beat this thing and get into amazing shape!!!!!!
Paleo diet going WELL.
Some small slip ups here and there. I think I should tell everyone i'm going on a diet till I have my wedding. My diet will be no gluten, no grains, no diary, no sugar. haha
The belly button stopped bleeding 2 days ago, and it started to 'itch' so I know it's healing up. I'm pretty sure from Monday I can start hitting the weights again. 5-3-1 Plus some Xfit met-con. I should be good. hehe. get myself back on the train, 2 weeks of recovery and now I got about 10 weeks to take home my 10% and show up in the best shape of my life for my wedding.
