    Whats next for IM contestants?

What is everyone going to do 7-16-2011?

For me I am still continuing my personal challenge as long as it takes.
probably going to let up on the diet a bit. Personally I want to see something between 200 and 210. I really don't care what I weigh. I just want to look better that most 50 year old men!

I need to buy some more "smaller" clothes.

I know I am going to Sonn'y BBQ for All you can eat RIBS, FRIES, Mac and cheese, baked beans and corn bread.

    Southern style pig out!

I'm continuing too. I've "only" lost 7 lbs. but my clothes are looser, I feel better and, most importantly (with Built's guidance) I've finally found a "diet" I can stay on FOREVER. Not a diet until you lose what you want to lose and then try and "maintain" and gain it all back.

Show off what i got for the weekend enjoy the freedom of not having to plan every meal and carry a cooler bag everywhere, not have to shovel hand fulls of supplements down my troat and drink nasty shakes. Im just excited to enjoy the summer and be hapoy with what ive accomplishrd. I dont look as good as i had pictured but who dors right?! So again awesome work guys and girls you all helped me in a different way so thanks! This was awesome prep for me to go on to competeing in a real bb competition next year.

I think I will have a bender this weekend, lol ....

then get back to searching for my thinner side.... clothesfit much better, well they dont. clothes dont fit, that are all too big but I am afraid to buy anything yet....

yes, more gym, taking it easier for a month, give myself the chance to decondition a little....

then hit it hard, meanwhile, I will up the cardio a little and continue to watch diet, i will be on PCT so I have to make sure I dont lose anything I worked hard to get, at least not much of it.

Oh you guys are all admitting to pigging out after? Well hell then I will too. I finished today so I already ate a large pizza, four bagels and a big ass bowl of Reese's puffs. I plan on hitting up an asian buffet and I may buy myself a cookie cake. I'm back on the diet Tuesday though. The following week I'll be in New Orleans and theres no way in hell I'll be able to stick to anything there. So yeah :P

Nah, I disagree. One's diet is a lifestyle. Do you go out with friends visiting wineries on a regular basis? Is your job food-oriented? Do you recognize that you stress-eat? I have to think about what goes in my mouth. So I have to plan for it. Some people don't. They don't gain weight because their life changed or they had a baby or even because they're eating different things. I have to tell people no, thanks, I can't eat that and risk being "rude." I will go so far as to avoid making cupcakes or brownies or something for my kid's class because I'd eat some of them - I'll buy premade instead because there's wrapping in between me and the cupcake.

I think about it less than when I started. But I still have to think and plan.

Im going to keep blasting away for another 6-7 weeks when I leave for a 9 day vacation to Mexico with the gf. Gives me some more time to knuckle down like I should have been these past weeks but I can only keep my eye on the Mexican prize which is the first week of September.

Congratulations to everyone that stuck with it and finished this competition. We are all winners no matter what!!

Gonna stay on the same path until all my abdominal fat is gone. Then after a short break gonna start trying to add some more lean muscle to my frame without the fat. I don't ever want to reach another point where I have to spend 12+ weeks cutting to see my abs again!

Congrats to all who joined in and stuck with it. Everyone here has been great, continually providing positive support and motivation to each other, pushing each other to reach their goals!

Everyone that has posted pictures along the way has shown great progress during their transformation. That's what its all about.....better today than yesterday....continuous improvement.

I can't wait to see everyones pics, I'm very happy with my current results but ill def be going under the knife after I cycle off n pct to get rid of the last of my gyno.... Remember cycle smart n do a complete pct for you that hit the anabolics as hard as I did.

We def all have much to be proud of, only wish I had more time to dedicate to getting to know you all better n update the log more often but def will be a board bum come fall.

Continue my training and diet as normal.
I enjoy my diet and pushing myself to the limit.

Need to concentrate more or fitness rather than size and strength which sucks but pay is good.

For me, I think I am going to register to my very first competition next week which will be held in October just right after this challenge. So Thanks to all of your encouragements! I will continue cutting my fat and discipline on my diet until October. I think everyone have learnt something after this challenge.
    Cheers,
    Lee

What I said. in more depth. I diet is what you eat on a daily basis (lifestyle) . eating the correct foods and healty foods etc. The other "do Diet" I was talking about was a "gimmick" diet or a "fad". Most of the people here would consider their diet a clean add healthy lifestyle.

Most do not "diet" like South Beach or weight watchers. Our Diet is what we eat daily. Making the choices to avoid eating crappy foods most of the time.

A BBer "diet" definatly has to be planned more than a Fad "diet"

That is what I meant by Diet is what we eat (as a lifestyle)
not something we "do" like Atkins for a few months to lose 15 pounds and then go off of the "plan" just to gain it all back.

Amen to that.... I still think of myself as my before pics til I take update pictures and see the difference.... Funny thing is my before pics looked awesome compared to wehre I was 3-4 months before that even and I thought I was he cats meow,lollololol... now I wonder how the heck did I let myself slide THAT FAR....

I am with you my friend.... once I get my abs, it will be easierr to judge wehre I am at, when you dont have em, it is hard to determine how much fat is actualy accumulating.

Thanks a million for assisting me on my back routine, you will see a definite change and I am hitting areas harder now than I used to before...

good luck on the contest and looking forward to seeing your september photos...

posted this in my log, but will put here also Im not gonna lie, im beat, and need a break. Im taking a week off of training, no supplements, no ec, no pills, no powders, gonna have few drinks, eat some pizza and get back at it next week. I was in a 8-week contest 2 days before entering this so i was basically in 20 weeks of contest mode. I did pop my anabolic cherry so to speak with 11-oxo (had to start somewhere) and thinkin about tryin out Havoc, heard thats a good beginner ph. Def gonna stay motivated tho, good luck to all.

    weight 286 to 264
    waist 51.5" to 48"
    bench 270 to 290
    squat 365 to 405
    deads 335 to 365
    bb rows 155 to 225
lat pull downs 175x3 to 200x10
    dumbell rows 70x8 to 95x15

Waist went down and dropped 20 lbs in bout 3 weeks, but i think over last 2 months ive def added some muscle, exspecially my back, which def was weak going in to this. I planned on doing more cutting, but as i went along i think i did a recomp instead, which i think is even better. Just sent in some pics, might have to re do them late in weekend, as i forgot about newspaper, which is ok, I had a lil bloat going on in pics and think i will look better in morning.
