i just pull the lid off the top of the tank in the back(where water sits before flush) and the rough unfinished edge of the tank (porcelain) is a kick ass glass cutter
i just lightly drag the amp at snapping point right along that rough edge
you will actually feel it scoring the gass...then use towel and snap!no worries!!!

Ok bro, but I find that using a fingernail file to score the glass works just as well and is a lot easier!
