daily undulating periodization
daily undulating periodization
i currently do a push/pull split so push, rest, pull, rest, etc etc would throwing in some daily undulating periodization be conducive to gains? i've hit a bit of a wall. what i am thinking is having 3 schemes: A - 15rm myo reps B - 5 x 5 (straight sets) C - 10rm myo reps both myo rep days are as outlined by borge. then doing something like PUSH-A, REST, PULL-A, REST, PUSH-B, REST, PULL-B, REST, PUSH-C, REST, PULL-C, REST a few cycles of this and then either a week off every 8 weeks or a deload week with very light weights no myo. my current routine is push: bench press db flys shoulder press close grip bench press pull: bent over row pullups squats (i know its a push but it makes it 4 exercises each) bicep curls
(i would normally do deadlifts instead of pullups but have currently twinged my lower back) each exercise is 1 activation set and myo sets for the myo days and 5 x 5 is self explanatory. any help would be appreciated. why not just go with the traditional 5 day split? idk about you but theres no way 1 exercise for legs every 4th day would be near enough for me, that is unless you are doing like 8-12 sets.
dude,
i dont understand your workout terminology at all
push a,pull a,rest,etc
what's the logic behind this???
heres my thoughts on training
if im training for strength, sheiko is best
if im going for mass, id go with hst.
the science behind hst is pretty legit
