New member need advice about diet

Hi guys, I'm a new member here though I've been browsing for a little while and have found some great information so far in my new quest to get in better shape and to just live an all around healthy lifestyle. I thought I'd go ahead and post and see if maybe someone could give me a little advice about my current diet and what I might be doing wrong. Just to give a few details about myself, I'm a male, 29yrs old, about 5'10 and right now around 164lbs.

I started my cutting diet about a month and a half ago in order to try and get rid of some extra fat, and at the time I was taking in around 2000 cals eating completely clean, and weight training about 6 times a week(taking Sunday off), and also about 20 minutes of high intensity cardio afterwards. After about a month I saw absolutely no results, no weight loss, and no fat loss or changes in my body at all (I try to stay off the scales and go by my body, rather than weight). A little while later I cut my cals down to about 1800 and was taking in around 250g of protein, 100g of carbs, and about 50g of fat per day to see if a change might show some results, again I ate completely clean, and again no results. I was wondering if anyone could help me out and let me know what I might be doing wrong, and if I need to cut down on how many calories I'm taking in or what? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys.
