hello everyone. just joined. hoping for advice and wisdom
hello all, I just joined the site today. I came across it looking for answers to a question I've had for a while. I'm 32 year old male fitness model, among other things. I don't know if this is the right area to post this question but I guess I'll learn as I go. I've had tendonitis for two years. two cortizone shots and no down time afterwards bc the brilliant doctors didn't deem to inform me that cortizone weakens the tendon. so the pain was masked and i kept doing damage. finally an mri found a tear at the lateral epocondyle. They did a lateral epocondyle release and was in a cast from shoulder to fingers for four weeks. then a splint for three. seven wks post op am starting PT. I still have the same pain and same level of pain I always had. The pain is in my forearm about two inches below the elbow joint on the outer but upper part of my forearm. I can't even grip a coffee cup and hold it straight out with a locked elbow. a second opinion from a orthapedic genius said that I could possibly have an impedement on my nerve. I'll spare you all the technical jargon as I don't understand a lot of the words myself. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before the surgery bc my elbow didnt hurt until two months prior to surgery after two years of forearm pain. the surgeon blocked the MRI just below my elbow so it couldn't show anything in m forearm. this was a mistake as i told him but now i'm screwed and can't have an MRI for some time as it would show all the adema from before and after surgery alike. i don't know what to expect as i know no one who has had this procedure. If any of you have i would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions on recovery time, pain, response to surgery, etc. anything will help. i've heard that deca helps but only while on it. hgh is the only true healing marvel but am not interested in the risks along with that. mostly just looking for advice or input on the surgery itself and anyone who has info first or second hand knowledge of it. thank you all very much and I appreciate the opportunity to join here.
hey bro, i posted a question in the anabolic section because it was a gear related question but haven't gotten any replies so i was curious as to whether or not i should have posted it in the general health and awarness forum. the post title was (tendonitis 4 months post op. need help). I just started on here and don't wanna post in the wrong sections but I didn't want to post a question related mostly to gear even though it had to do with an injury. do you mind taking a look at the post and even if you have no advice on the que itself, let me know if i posted in the right place. thanks man.
