    Advice for a Tall guy?

    How's it going everybody?

I'm 6'10" and have lifted weights for sports my entire adult life. Mainly for basketball if you haven't already guessed.

I've struggled to keep mass on my whole life. I've been up to 250lb. Averaged 235lbs for the past 2 years, but am down to 225 currently with about 13% BF.

My goal is to be 235 with 8% BF or less.

I know I have to eat more and cleaner, but I was curious if there was a safe supplement and easy meal plan people would recommend for me.

    Any advice is appreciated!

    Thank you

    Hey, welcome to IM.

First and foremost, sounds like you need to get your diet in order. Give the link in my signature a read -- pay particular attention to the diet information. If you have any questions regard diet or training, feel free to post them in the appropriate forum sections.

Sup Brokim Noah...I'm 6' 7" here and I feel your pain. Not easy to pack mass on a frame that big. Even harder to do some of the basic lifts (bench press, pullups) with super long monkey arms.
I'm sitting at 245'ish, have been as heavy as 265 but I didn't find any real secret other than eating a lot and lifting heavy.

Throw some oatmeal/banana/waxymaize into your shakes. Drink 2-3 per day.
Eat like a friggin horse. Stick to basics (steak, chicken, fish, simple carbs)
Train heavy and do it approx 4x per week

    Best of luck brutha

For one don't fall into the frame of mind that tall people should have a harder time doing certain exercises. Your joints are the same. Basic compound lifts are all the same. Good form through a proper range of motion is what the body does NATURALLY. Now if you want to be a powerlifter, yes it will be harder for you. But no excuses for not squatting or doing bench movements, pull ups, etc.

Yes then it's a matter of diet. What is your typical day of eating and lifting looking like?
