Hey all i'm new to the forums i've been lifting nonchalantley for the last 2.5 years, not really pushing myself too extreme and working out when it fits into what i want to do. It's benefited me nonetheless i've dropped 50 lbs since then (now weighing 230 lbs) and maxed out my bench at 300lbs a while back (i think i've lost some since losing the weight tho).
I'm on here because i'm considering upping my workout and buying some lower body weight equipment. I'm stuck between a squat rack or a squat machine. Rack could be bad for my back down the road, a machine could be too expensive and if i go cheap then it may not be what i am looking for. I'm also going to upgrade my weight bench i already have a good amount of dumbbells but i really want to take it to the next level this winter. Hope this is the place to come thx for any help.
