Cool Getting back in the hang of things

Hi. I was discussing weight lifting tips to a customer at work the other day, for his wife, and realized that I missed doing all those things.

I am 29 years old. I used to go to a small gym in Southern California, to work out and burn fat. At the time, I was 25/26, I weighed about 144 lbs, and had a 19% body fat. The owner of the gym was a former professional body builder. When I used to go to the gym, I would do an hour of cardio, followed by free weights (yes, just like the guys do) and then finished the workout with some walking to cool down. The girls at the gym would stare at me because I would be working out with the men, and not using the machines like them. I would do curls, bench presses and even Russian dead lifts. I was proud of my body back then, I had muscle in my legs, back, pecks (not a lot) and arms. The only thing I couldn't burn was my abdominal muscle. The gym's owner told me if I could lose more body fat, he would train me for competitions, as a beginner. Well, I did it for a month, and when the time came for him to check my body fat again, his gym closed down. I was certain that I was at 15%. I ate no fried food, took supplements like Glutamine, Glucosomine and the yucky protein shakes

So to make a long story short (too late lol) I wanted to say hi and that I'm glad to be here to support and be supported.
