Read a couple of discussion and thought some of you can help me. I am a regular body builder and have been working out for 4 yrs. I recently had a knee injury because of which I am advised not to work out. as per my doctor i will not be able to workout till April 2012. after which i should be able to workout as usual again. Since I am at home I wish to gain size WITHOUT working out. so eating should only be the option I guess. can some1 help me by suggesting the kinds of food i should consider adding to my diet. Currently, I am on a 4 meal plan 3 big ones and a snack to keep my metabolism low ......... but i dont want to gain fat and would like to gain size however
Welcome to the board. You can repost in the diet/nutrition forum for help. Include your stats and samples of your current meal plan. Although you should listen to your doc, if it was me I'd atleast do some training that doesn't involve the knee.
Welcome. I don't see any reason why you can't workout other body parts without putting pressure on your knees. I would do sitting or lying exercises, light weight.
