New to str traning.
Nice to meet yall. I'm Steve, I'm Living in Florida, finishing up my Navy contract, about to go to college in North carolina. I'm not new to lifting weights, but I am new to training for max strength instead of looks only been training for str like 3 weeks. I'm around 5'9 and 175 lbs, for my 5x5 main lifts I use 275 squat, 225 squat (my form sucks so I'm not using much weight while I get it down good) and 205 bench. My bench max is the only one I know for sure which is 245. I take protein, a multi and just started taking mono creatine.
Interests include, reading, lifting weights, classic to 90's rock music, playing guitar, shooting, thick brunettes, and anything outdoors.

*meant to say 225 was for deads. Thanks for the replies I'll have to look into doing the online log thing and posting up my diet and program. You're very welcome for the service :). It's a pretty sweet deal as long as the VA benefits don't get pulled.

Nice, you're alot more cut then me though.what kinda martial arts are you into? I did jiu jitsu for a lil while at a gracie academy, prolly the best my abs ever looked. The closest person in my exp bracket was 135 lbs though so I rolled with him and some of the blue belts. They used to call me Hercules cause I didn't know much technique but I lifted and was juiced so I would scrape by on a few cheap basics and abusing my str advantage. Most of them used the jiu jitsu as their primary workout.Lol that use to piss the instructors off.

Haha being stronger definitely gives an edge especially if someone's skill level isn't that much better than yours! I've done Tae Kwan Do, Boxing, BJJ, American MMA, got Brown belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate, and am an Apprentice Instructor Phase 2 in Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee's martial art). My favorite is JKD since its so practical and has a ton of variety!
