Starting up again!
Hi! I just started lifting weights again about two months ago. I stopped for three years due to Lyme Disease. I'm so glad to be back at it! I played college football for three years and was in excellent shape before I got sick. I'm 5'9 and weigh 180. I'm looking to shed my fat and gain lean muscle. I'm glad to be here and look forward to talking with you all!

Wow that's terrible! How was it you knew you had Lyme Disease? And why did it take to years to get rid of it? Was it a really bad case???

Hi Ann!
It's nice to meet you! Unfortunately, it took quite a few doctors and a few different hospitals to finally diagnose me with Lyme Disease. It took a total of two years! My glands were constantly sore, my body was weak and it felt like I had a bad case of the flu. They did a Western Blot test and that is how I found out. They immediately put me on antibiotics and I took three different ones for a year. I gradually got my strength and health back and totally stopped the antibiotics this past March. I am glad to be back to my normal self again! Ya know, I always took my health for granted before I got sick. Now I see how precious my health is and I DO NOT take it for granted now.
