I've been luring the ironmag forum for more than 6 months and decided to actually register (so I could download gopro's power/rep/shock routine .
Like many others on this board, I've undergone quite a transformation over the past months. YEARS ago I played a lot of sports - football,b-ball, baseball all through school ... lots of raquetball in college. Then there was the Marine Corps. Well ... from my mid 20's to mid 30's I went waaaaay downhill - hah.
When I started lifting/cardio 8 months ago I was at about 235 lbs @ 5' 10" and more than 35% bf. Ouch! I'm now at 194 and 14.5% bf. That's a difference of around 70 pounds of LARD that I've lost so far and at the same time I've put on about 20 pounds of lean mass. I'm an endo/meso and have never seen a 6pack on this frame ... so I'm planning on cutting until I do. After that, I'll hit my first real bulking cycle.
My 'short term' goal - is to get below 10% bf. Longer term goal is to be 210 lbs. at 8-9%bf. We'll go from there
I read everything I can get my hands on - including other forums (anabolic/bb.com). Best book I've enjoyed is Arnold's Encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding. Defnintely worth a read - or 2 or 3.
Anyway - I'm a lurker by nature, but might throw in my $.02 every now and then on the supp forum ... which is where I am most of the time.
