Cool New Guy Needs Pro Advice!

    Hi,

First time on here and I am amazed by the amount of information that everyone posts on here, fabulous!!

I have been following the Body for Life program for about 5 months now and am quite happy with the "loss" I have achieved, going from 188lbs to 160lbs, from 20.3% bodyfat to 13% in that same amount of time. I feel great, look more cut but have not gained much in muscle mass. I do cardio three days a week for 20 minutes, interval training. I do free weights at home three alternating days and have the 7th day to rest. The Body for Life program basicaly does one day upper body workout and the other lower body ... I feel like I should be working out specific muscle groups on alternating days or something ....

Anyway I am eating quite well, 5-6 times a day, balancing complex carbs and protein at each meal. I have been doing some reading on this site and will increase my protein intake from about 30 grams per meal to 40-50 grams.

I guess I am looking for tips, tricks, workout routines that work ... as well as nutrition tips and just overall good advice from a group of people that have been doing this for a good while.

On another note I recently saw for the first time the movie Pumping Iron on DVD as well as the 25 Years Later special feature to the DVD release. All I can say is WOW, I had not been exposed to bodybuilding or competitions at all and this was an eye opener .... holy crap them's are big fellas!!

Anyway, thanks for all the great info, hopefully I can learn lots of new things!!

    Thanks

    DQ
