Hello to all,
I have been browsing this forum for a couple of days now, and it is very nice to finally find an ACTIVE forum. There seems to be a goldmine of knowledge here and I plan on tapping into it. I am 36, and I havent gained a pound or lost a pound in 15 years, I have been skinny all my life, and Ive had enough! Through out the years I have tried EVERYTHING to gain weight, but my metabolism will not be fooled, at least until recently. Back in June, I was laid off from my job, and was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired, so I started lifting weights to see if I could put on weight with muscle. So far, I think it is working! In 6 months, I have put on 25 pounds (biggest gain ever) of muscle without the help of supplements, and continue about a pound every 2 weeks. I started lifting without educating, and developed tendonitis in my right elbow, but got to a doctor in time, and with some PT and changes in my routine, Im back on track. My goal is to gain another 40 pounds in 2 years. I think I can do it, Let there be no doubt, bodybuilding has become the best addiction of my life. Be prepared for a ton of questions from me!
