    low test.

Hi all...new to forum. I was diagnosed a couple of years ago with secondary hypogonadism. All my bllod work was fine except fsh, lh, free and total T...which were all low. I've been on T replacement off and on for 2 years. Endocrinologist says my low T is ideopathic.
I've been going to the gym for 2 years...gains are modest and I keep getting too much abdominal fat. I switch to cardio and burn the gut...but lose most of my gains...even while alternating cardio with weights and gorging on protien.
Anyway, I'm sick of T replacement and want to go on hcg to try to re-stimulate the axis. I've used copenhagen for many years and think that is the cause of the low t. Additionally, a bone density scan revealed osteopenia.
OK, I abused my body for many years (I will be 39 in a few weeks) and am trying desperately to turn it around. I'm eating right and feel good most days and love going to the gym! This pesky t problem is in my way! Even if I get my t to normal (for my age) I don't think that will be sufficient to build muscle and lose fat.
My estradiol #s have been ok.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Dave

It sounds like you need a good HRT doctor to "tune" you up. Check out this website www.allthingsmale.com. This doctor is cutting edge and prescribes HCG, and possibly arimidex (aromatise inhibitor) if needed, along with testosterone cypionate or Androgel.

You can ask him questions directly at www.steroidology.com/forum/. He goes by the name SWALE there. Just post a title something like "Question for Swale" in the Anabolic Forum.
