    Hi everyone!!

HI everyone! I've been looking around and reading alot of people's journals for a couple weeks now. Thought I should join everyone now and say hello! You all provide so much valuable info and support on here. It is really a good site. A little about me... I've always been very athletic played competitive tennis pretty much since 9 years old... decided not to play college tennis.. now haven't played in about 8 months. Trying to get back into it.. I have always enjoyed working out. I have been in the gym since 15 yrs. old. Although from 15-19 yrs old i was a solid athletic build and was a comfortable 172lbs and never thought twice about it or eating healthy. Well i got up to 185lbs a year after college and was not happy with my size 12's being tight. Yes.. i am very muscular so i was a size 10 at 172... anyways.. one day I completely changed my lifestyle. I came across the Body For Life book.. didn't buy it just skimmed over it and the next day changed for good. It was weird.. never looked back kept working out and 100% overhauled my eating habits. Clean eating 6 days a week and a cheat day on Sundays. So in 6 months i was down to 142lbs and a very comfortable 4/6 size. I am a walking nutrition label i joke. I know almost too much about working out and FOOD! I love food... so brings me to my point.. i maintained 140 lbs for over a year.. then went on a cruise.. then lost those 5 lbs gained.. back to 140.. but i think that is what started the bingeing!! . So the last 8 months or so i've been battling my eating habits.. i know exactly how and what to eat.. but i LOVE sweets. I seem to have gotten a hold of my eating now.. I have a renewed spirit and i am ready to reach my ultimate goal. SO i am lucky that my awful habits only lead to a 8-10 lb gain. So i'm sitting at about 149. at 142lbs i was at 15% BF. i would love to get back to 140 and ultimately 135lb. We'll see.. at 140 people told me a i skinny! anyways sorry for the long story!.. so i came across this site and i am ready to change again for good. i've been going strong again for a whole week now.. no pigging out on icecream!! i've been known to down 3/4 a carton in a sitting. but i am determined and ready to keep everyone posted as well as follow along with everyone else here! Thanks guys.. for listening!

    Welcome to IM !

BFL is how I started but got to a point where it wasn't enough. Found this site and the Burn the Fat , Feed the Muscle manual and have started making progress above and beyond the BFL.

yeah that is great! I got the progress I wanted and beyond. I eventually figured my own diet and exercise out. BFL is just what sparked something in me. I continued doing my own researching and more on diet and exercise... I got certified as a personal trainer.. didn't like doing that though!! I also am i tennis pro. So I now know ALOT of info... but am continually learning!

    Welcome!
But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.
