haha... yeah, good call. I forgot to ask the question. lol

well... I'm a competitive swimmer, and during summer season I usually don't lift, but this summer I'm going to.. With swimming we have 6 morning workouts (mon-sat) from 5:45-8:30am (the first 15 min is stretching) and 4 evening workouts from like 4:30-6pm. (mon-thurs) When would be the best time during the day for me to lift? (say before my morning workout and I'll kill you lol) What would be the best days? And what type of lifting do you think would be best? Lifting wise, I'm mostly just trying to help my swimming... I don't really care about getting big/cut whatever. I'm kinda lost with integrating lifting into my working out.... we lifted during college season, but it was rather ineffective the way we lifted (imo), so I pretty much have to come up with my own program here. But I need to incorporate lifting, because even with the cruddy lifting schedule we did, I still was in better shape than I am when I strictly swim.

And I was also wondering.. should I take protein after practice, and lifting, and practice?

And I usually take all my vitamins in the morning when I wake up and have breakfast... is that the best time to take them? Know anywhere good I could find out info on vitamin interactions? I know that some are supposed to be detrimental to absorption of others and vice versa, but I haven't really been able to find anything that has an breakdown of what goes with what.

ok, so that was like 8 questions.

Also try listing what your supps and vita's are. what, and how you plan on taking in you protein?
As for how offten to weight train, It seems you are doing alot with the swimming, I am no expert, but it sound like it would be best to start out with doing mabey 2 days per week, if that. I would do like upper body at the begining of the week lightly, then legs on friday night so you have some rest. or take it a little further and just work out one day, hard on friday, full body.
When and if you think you can do more then take if from there.
    my 2¢
