I'm a 17-year-old "martial artist". I joined mainly because I want to put on some muscle, and thought this would be a great place to start.
Some of you may already know me from defend.net, I go by the username 'Angel of Death'.![]()
Anyway, I'm 5'9" tall and weigh about 145lbs, of course give or take a few depending on whether I have a full stomach or not.
I just want to add some lean muscle, but otherwise I'm extremely athletic, and in great shape. I've been training on and off in various types of martial arts for a few years, although never layed my hands on a black belt or anything of that nature. I have no interest in winning championships or anything, just like to stay in shape, and have the ability to kick some ass when I need to.
Usually my routine includes just bodyweight workouts and some cardio; jogging, jump-roping, pushups, chinups, crunches, dips, squats and et cetera. I never do anything with weights, other than the occasional wrist curls for some sweet forearms.
I hope all this seemingly worthless info comes in useful if some of you great people consider giving me advice. Basically I just want to add some functional combat strength, but not become a bodybuilder or anything. Thank you in advance.![]()
