Question newbie

I am to this forum. I need help with fat loss. I weigh 222 and I am 5'9" tall. I have lost about 20 pounds in six weeks but in the last two I am staying the same weight. I go to the gym and lift weights for an hour to an hour and a half four days a week. I do cardio for about 30 min the other three days. I drink protein shakes and eat chicken, fish, rice, carrots, salads, and oatmeal. can not figure out why I am not losing. any help would be great help.

There are a lot of good resources out there (inluding this forum ). Read a book entitled Nutrient Timing for starters.

For supplements take a multivitamin, a multimineral, vitamins A, C & E, and a Calcium/Magnesium tab. And realize that whey is your new best friend.

A tip from a n00b (which would be me): don't try to do an outrageous amount of sets until you are more experienced (and even then, you still may not want to). Overtraining can really play havoc on your body. Both mentally and physically.

These are the things I've learned so far, and I'm still fairly new to bodybuilding.
I hope some of this helps.
