    Get it started

Well, hello to all! I am a 22 year old stay at home mother of two. I am 5'3" and 126 lbs. I know that I am not "fat" but I am like 27% body fat and need to change that. I recently joined a gym and had my body fat tested... I was pretty disgusted. I need some major advice on what to eat and not to eat to acheive goals I have in mind... also exercises that I can do to become long and lean. I have been a reader of this website for a while and finally decided that there are a lot of people on here that could help if I just got the courage to ask. So HELP ME PLEASE! . I have pilates videos... dont know if they work cause I have only done them twice! My husband is not even attracted to me anymore. I used to be really tiny when we met 4 years ago (like 103lbs) and now his eyes wander. I really want to make a change and have him look at me like he used to I just have no idea where to start. Any and all advice will be much appreciated. Thank you so much!

It's great that you want to change for the better!! You are now ahead of 80% of the rest of world.

The first muscle that you need to train is your mind. Start by learning about nutrition and how your body works. A great book for nutrition is Nutrient Timing. You can read about it at Amazon.com. Arnold has a book out entitled, Encyclopedia of Modern BodyBuilding. This book will help you learn about the various exercise. Just don't try the routines that he outlines in the book. They're way too much for a beginner, in my humble opinion.

Finally, ask questions from the men and women of this forum. They do know quite a bit. Never neglect your own judgement though.

    Good luck!

    Hi skyscreen 317
Good on you for asking for help, it is possible! just be sure to always be consistant and find out for your self the way your body works, by reading as much as you can.
I am a mother of 2 as well and understand the time challanges thanks to our prescious little friends!
Set your self small goals firstly, even simply by going for a walk twice a week, it might sound too simple but it's a start.
I would love to chat with you some more, have to go baby has just woken up!!
    regards thumper
