It's all or nuttin!!!

Hi!!!!! Yes I am new to this, not sure where to start but thought this place is as good as any. Most of you are old pros to this and I am looking forward to learning from a lot of you.
I had a baby 14 months ago, and during my pregnancy I gained over 80 pounds due to un-diagnosed Gestational Diabetes. As a result, my son was born very sick and now has a mild form of Cerebral Palsy. I was a single mom with a sick new born and a preschooler with no time for me. During the last 14 months I concentrated on getting my son healthy and totally forgot about mama. Now that my son is better, it's time I started concentrating myself again. I have two boys, a 4 year old and the 14 month old and I wanna be a "Hot Mommy". I'm tired of being "cute and cuddly", I wanna be "Ripped and Sexy" So, here I am.....gaining valuable insight and knowledge from those who have been there. I need all the encouragement and advise I can get about losing weight the healthy way and toning up the proper way. Could use a buddy or two to keep track of my progress....any one up for the challenge?? |

Congratulations on deciding to make a change. I am sure that it has been a tough going. I am NOT a weight loss expert by any means, but would certainly be happy to provide moral support as you go along. I would strongly recommend starting a journal so that those here who are more knowledgable can put their 2 cents in. Also, having a journal helps to keep you accountable and on top of what you're eating, and how your exercise plan looks like. The folks here are a great.
