Newbie

Hello everyone I am new to this thread.

I have been going to the gym refgularly for a couple of years now but mostly focused on cardio. I recently started strength training (with an excellent trainer 2x/week) and have already started to see results although I have a long way to go - I have always lacked upper body stregnth.

I also find myself constantly fighting the battle (battle is probably too strong of the word) of the bulge and while I find restricting carbs to help me do the best re weight loss I find that it has negative effects at the gym so recently I decided if a low GI diet can help with weight control and strength training.

I look forward to learning alot from everyone here.
