why does overtraining seem to work for me?
hello!
i am new to this site - but have alot of respect for the information given here! my problem is this..... when ever i bench press every day for like months the amount of reps i can do on my heavyist weights goes up and up and up! However if i listern to people who say you must give it a two or three day break or your just overtraining the amount of reps i can do on my heavyist weights goes down - like i can lose two reps off my heavyist weights in a week! it makes me think the more time i take off the more i can bench will go down?? is it possible that for me working out every day is better than having two or three day breaks?? also - i tend to lose two or three reps of my heavyist weights if i take a week off?? im 6"7 and 14 stone also - i dont know if that will make any difference? using the dog crap system? any opinions will be appreciated? |

Welcome to IM
When you are a teenager and/or new to lifting you can do anything and grow, but that does not mean you are doing it right......post your exact workout in detail in the training section. Last edited by TJ Cline : 01-28-2006 at 06:26 PM. |
