Alright.. I weight about 155 pounds and im about 5'7 -5'8. The problems is i bought a protein shake when i started working out, ive seen some good gains but then i ran out of protein...Is it really essential to have a protein powder or supp or can i just eat six times a day?
I also can stick to a strict programme, sometimes i go 5 times a day then the next week i go 4 times to the gym.Can anyone please help me with a good programme? thanxxxxx pps..

Read the stickies in the training section for routine/program advice. Also, no you do not NEED protein powder. It is simply an alternative source of protein from real food (meat etc). If you can get your daily needs for protein from real food sources, it's actually better than protein powder, whey is just more convienant for a lot of people. Also, bulking isn't just about protein, you need lots of healthy fats, and carbs as well. Most importantly, you have to be taking in more calories per day than you burn to gain weight.
