    New/need help

Hey everyone, My name is Brad im 21 and need some advice

Im 5'9" 175lbs and i was looking to gain some muscle mass.

I've read alot of books and forums, but i dont know where to start.

To be honest im looking to eventually put on 50 lbs and hopefully begin to train for professional wrestling. If anyone can give me some input on if this is even possible for me to put on that much weight and if its safe.

    Thanks all

Its very possible to put on that much weight with a good diet and good training programs, but it wont happen over night. Itll take a good few years to put that much on.

If youre just beginning training seriously (or at all) with weights, then itll be easier to put on mass at the start.

When i started lifting about 4 years ago i weighed about 125lbs, at my thinnest i weighe about 110lbs. Now i weight 180lbs. True, i was abnormally thin because of terrible diet and a few illnesses, but its still do-able.

Theres plenty of good info here so my best advice would be to go and look around. Diet + Nutrition, and Training will be invaluble to you.

Dont be afraid of chiming in or asking questions either. As long as you're polite and not a complete ass to the members here it'll be fine.

Oh, and welcome to IM .
