Hi Everyone!
I'm a 34 years old female, 5'8", 178lbs, probably 28% body fat ....I'm very soft around the middle, chest and rear end; my legs are a little toned though because I've always enjoyed working legs! Anyway, I'm fed up with my body and really want to change it. I'm just uncertain on the best way to get started. I enjoy working out; try to do cardio and resistance training a few times per week. But, I'd like to get started on a new lifestyle and workout 5 - 6 days/week. But, I'm just not clear on the best diet for me. I've been able to lose a few lbs here and there by counting calories. I can also lose a few lbs on the Nutrisystem plan. However, I'm ALWAYS craving more protein than the plan allows! And I have to overload on veggies in order to feel full. So, my goal is to lose LOTS of body fat and just look toned. Should I select one of the cutting plans from the "diet & nutrition" section? Or are those plans tailored more for body builders? In regards to nutrition: Is it OK to use "I can't believe it's not butter" spray and salt substitutes (potassium) when cooking? I would really appreciate some guidance! Thanks in advance! Jamie |

jamie1888 welcome to IM!
you need to read up in the diet/nutrition forum, check out the stickies, and no, nothing is really tailored for a bodybuilder per se, the manner in which a person gets lean is pretty much the same across the board. |

Hey Jamie. Is the '1888' in your name anything to do with Celtic FC?
