    Noobie, some questions

I know a lot of these questions have been answered but I couldn't find an answer for everything.

I'm 6'4" and about 175 pounds. Fairly skinny. I started working out hard and eating healthy about a month ago, and have actually gained a few pounds. I did some reading and noticed my eating habits aren't the best for gaining weight though. I only eat like 2 meals a day, I keep it healthy but don't eat a lot. The reason is because I'm so skinny and tall that it all seems to go straight to my stomach. And it really bothers me, which is why I eat so little. Has anyone else had a problem with this? I'm going to try eating more, and then maybe get protein supplement to take so it's more in a liquid form. Do these shakes count as a meal?

And I've also been working out every single day on the same muscle groups. Short workouts but fairly intense. Is every other day on different muscle groups a lot better?

I play basketball for cardio and staying healthy in that sense. I've always been skinny and have high metabolism.

So what's the best way to keep the stomach down? I do mad amounts of sit ups and crunches everyday, usually on an excersize ball.

    smi77y welcome to IM!

first of all you need to read the stickies in the diet/nutrition forum, secondly you need to eat 4-6 times per day, small healthy meals.

you're basically asking for us to create a diet for you, which no one will do, post the 2 meals you eat per day in the diet/nutrition forum, and/or create a new diet and post that for feedback.
