Wha'sup people.
Trying to lose weight and gain a little muscle to boot.

Recently decided to start alternating my workouts a bit. Going to do moderate weight 6-8 rep sets for growth one week and do high reps(30+) with light weight for definition. Am I crazy or will this work if I also drop my carb intake a little?

Welcome, let me go ahead and trump the myth that high reps equal definition. Longer aerobic or anaerobic activity can lead to more calories burned, but its not like high reps make your muscles grow in a different way to produce definiton. None the less welcome.

Ok. The real important thing is the Caloric burn which equals fat loss.
That's what I really wanted to know. Thanks alot.

Well the more work you do and the more you get your heart pumping the more cals you will burn. But if your looking for muscle, then you will get no where with somewhere in the region of 30 reps.
